infant & Child Dedication

• Christian parents making a promise to the Lord before the church congregation to raise the child in a godly way until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God.
• Acknowledging the child as a gift from God and vowing before Him and the congregation to set a godly example for the child and a commitment to lead the child to Christ at an early age.
• Presenting the child to God in an act of thanksgiving and dedication to God’s purposes.
• Worshiping God together as a family.
• Spiritual leaders blessing, praying over, and declaring God’s best for a child. At times the Holy Spirit may                                                                              even speak prophetically about the child’s future.
